Reminder: The South Holt Elementary PTO (formerly Elementary Booster Club) is meeting at 7:00 tonight (Wednesday) in the South Holt Library. South Holt varsity volleyball loses a very competitive best of 5 match to East Atchison. 2 sets won by SH to 3 sets won by EA. SH lost the fifth set by a score of 14-16.
South Holt cross country competed at the North Platte 2 Miler today. Dawson Fansher finished 4th and Olivia Prussman finished 8th. Great first meet! Go Knights!

The South Holt softball game at Dekalb for tonight has been postponed because of weather and field conditions. A makeup game date will be shared as soon as it is scheduled.
Morning Reminders for South Holt Elementary: The building opens at 8:00 a.m. Breakfast is offered at 8:00 a.m. and school begins at 8:24 a.m. Elementary students should not arrive before 8:00 a.m. Upon arrival, elementary students should be dropped off at one of the building entrances. All parents should check in at the office when entering the building. We had a great first week of school and are looking forward to another one!
A brief "After Prom" meeting will happen in the cafeteria at 6:30pm on Monday, August 30th in the lunchroom before the Senior Meeting. This meeting will discuss After Prom ideas for the April 23, 2022 event. See Mrs. Kerns with any questions.

South Holt is having a pep assembly today at 2:40pm in the main gym. In a last minute decision the school has decided to make it a community event. Parents and fans are welcome in the main gym. All guests shall sit in the south bleacher while attending today's pep assembly. We apologize for this late notification. We will do better next time.

The South Holt Knights kick off the 2021 fall sports season Friday night with the South Holt Varsity Football Team taking on Worth County. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m. in Oregon. We encourage all students and community members to show your Knight Pride by wearing black and gold tomorrow. Best of luck to all of our fall athletes as they begin their seasons in the next week! South Holt Fall Sports pictures will happen today (Wednesday). JH will have pictures taken between 2:30-3:30. High School will have pictures taken between 3:30-5:00. Whole group and individual pictures will be taken. Forms need to be sent in to school.
