South Holt Student Council Members and National Honor Society members as their Community Service Project packed boxes with food for Christmas dinner for several local families in need. Each box included ham, potatoes, gravy mix, corn, green beans, and rolls long with other items to put meals on the table for the holidays. The Mission Beyond Life Center and Brad Derr helped provide for the families in need, while the students helped provide the labor to carry food in, pack boxes, and then load boxes out for delivery.

The South Holt Lady Knights defeat the lady Mustangs 47-38.
The Lady Knights lead the Lady Mustangs 22-15 at halftime.
South Holt JV Knights play 2 quarters vs North Nodaway. Final score 28-13.
Tonight's varsity basketball game at North Nodaway will begin with JV Boys at 5:15, Varsity Girls at 6:00 and Varsity Boys at 7:30. The JV Girls game tonight has been cancelled. The bus will leave South Holt today at 3:30 pm with no feed the athletes.

2nd Grade small group reading groups joined together for fun times. They finished reading “Angels Don’t Know Karate” and then cut out sugar cookies and decorated them for their whole 2nd grade class.

South Holt has canned and boxed food to give away to families in need over the holiday and winter break. Any family who would like to receive donated food, please contact Mrs. Jennifer Graham or Mrs. Haylee Olberding Erickson 446-2288. Arrangements can be made to get the food to the families. We have a wide variety of food to give away.

Tonight’s 6-12th grade chorus and band concert is an in-person event starting at 6:00. Visitors are welcome and must wear a mask and social distance. We will livestream the concert on our Facebook page for those who can’t make it to the concert.
