At Sectional Track and Field. So far today, Hayden Elifrits (2nd)in Shot Put and James Herr (2nd) in Javelin have advanced to the Missouri class 2 state championships.
The 5th grade Science Fair presentation will take place in the library at 5pm this evening. This is a location change away from the school's main gym.
The Junior High and High School Awards Assembly is getting ready to start. It will be live streamed on the South Holt Facebook page.

If you son or daughter missed out on a Sports Physical today in the building they will need to arrange for one over the summer with their family doctor. Please make sure that all paperwork is turned into South Holt before your child's first practice in August.
South Holt will broadcast the Academic Awards Assembly on Facebook Live immediately following graduation practice. Please remember that we will not allow guests into the building for this event or during school hours as part of our reopening plan.

A message from MSHSAA regarding All Sectional Track and Field Competitions. South Holt / Nodaway-Holt will compete in Class 2 Sectionals at Higginsville this Saturday. Please inform your fans we are not allowed to take cash. They must purchase a ticket through the MSHSAA website. 1st Graders joined the 3rd graders in our classroom fort that we built during Fort Day as part of our final ten days of school celebration. Thanks 1st graders for bringing books for us to share with you.
The South Holt Elementary kids will be traveling out of the building and taking a field trip over the next few school days. These small group outing will be to St. Joseph and will take place over three afternoons. Friday, May 14 -- 5th and 6th grade going to Bode Ice Arena for ice skating and outdoor basketball (weather permitting). Monday, May 17 -- 3rd and 4th grade going to B&J Skate Center for roller skating. Tuesday, May 18 -- Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade going to B&J Skate Center for roller skating. Parents, Sports physicals will be offered at South Holt on Thursday, May 13th for students 6th - 11th grade. The students were given the proper paperwork on Friday to take home and fill out. If you want your student to take part in this activity, please fill out all paperwork and send a payment of $25.00 with you son or daughter on Thursday.
Sectional qualifiers include Hayden Elifrits- first in the shot, James Herr - first in javelin, Reese Morris - 3rd in 3200 and 4th in 1600, Dawson Fansher - 4th in 1600. Those who scored in the meet include Dawson Fansher- 6th in 3200, Brianna Biondo - 8th in triple jump, Hayden Elifrits 5th in disc., Olivia Prussman- 5th in the 3200, 7th in 1600 and Brody Scroggins 7th in the long jump.
