Remember that JH and HS students can go to the library from 8:00am-8:20am any day to check out books or just be in the library before school. The library is also open for checkout from 3:00-3:30 every day.
Great effort by the girls basketball team last night in the Fairfax Tournament against Falls City. The next game in the tournament for South Holt is the boys and they play tonight at 8:15pm. The bus leaves at 6:15pm tonight.
The JH Scholar Bowl team will compete today at Northeast Nodaway at 4:30pm. That van will leave at 3:00pm today.
There is no school at South Holt on Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Courtwarming 2025 will be celebrated next week with a theme of “We Got the Beat”. Courtwarming dress-up days are:
Monday - No School
Tuesday - Should've been a Cowboy (dress in Cowboy gear)
Wednesday - Party in the USA (America Day/ Dress Patriotically)
Thursday - Summer Nights (wear your beach party gear)
Friday - We are the Champions (wear Courtwarming shirt, black & gold, or Knights gear)

The Courtwarming King candidates are Trevor Markt, Zachary Schuman, and Hayes Weller
High school student council members will decorate for Courtwarming this Monday at 10:00 a.m.
This year's Friday school day Courtwarming Activity for HS students will be a 3-on-3 Basketball tournament. Please get your team together and sign up in the high school lounge. There will also be a Games Room during that time in Ms. Sikawar's room.
Our Courtwarming Friday after hours event for HS students will be an Amazing Race Competition. We will eat pizza after the basketball game and then start the Amazing Race. Teams will complete unique tasks while racing to be finished first in order to win $100! It cost $5 per person to play. Teams need to consist of 4 players. Get your team together and sign up in the High School Lounge. Payment is due at the event.
