All South Holt sophomore students will be attending a field trip on Wednesday, December 11th to tour Hillyard Technical Center in St. Joseph. Students need to arrive at South Holt to board the bus departing at 6:45am and will return with HTC students at the beginning of 4th hour that day.

The SH Varsity Boys Basketball Team defeated Mound City to take Consolation at the Mound City Tournament. Way to go Knights!
The South Holt JH Boys defeated Nodaway Valley in overtime in the 1st round of the 275 Conference Tournament. The JH girls fell to Nodaway Valley. Both South Holt teams are back in action Monday evening. Go Knights!
The varsity Lady Knights fall to East Atchison in the consolation game of the Mound City Tournament on Friday night.

Christmas Around the Square is happening tonight at the TJ Hall Building. Stop by and grab dinner and visit the vendors on the way to the JH basketball game. Dinner is being served at 5:00. Santa is on the stage from 4:00 to 7:00.

South Holt had all levels of basketball teams play on Tuesday night. The JH boys won over Nodaway Valley by 1 point. Unfortunately the HS boys, the HS girls, and the JH girls all lost. Next games: HS boys play tonight in the MC Tournament at 9:00pm. JH plays at home on Thursday aginst Savannah. HS girls play on Friday in the MC Tournament at 5:00pm.
After School Bible Club will Christmas carol around Oregon after school on December 4. If your child attends ASBC, please pick him or her up from the Oregon Christian Church at 4:30 on Wednesday. Reach out to Jim Kelly with any questions.

South Holt is holding a holiday food drive to Benefit the Hope House in Forest City. Staff, students, and community members may drop items off at the elementary office between December 2 and December 13. The most needed items are listed on the flyer below.
