There will be a high school 5th quarter event 30 minutes after the football game tonight at the First Christian Church for food, drinks, and games. This is for 9th-12th grade students only. This event is sponsored by the Ministerial Alliance, South Holt R-1, interested parents, and the First Christian Church.

South Holt Elementary was fortunate to have consultants from Northwest RPDC in the building today, observing math teaching and learning. Our teachers will spend time this year working with NWRPDC to bring best mathematical practices to our classrooms. We are excited about this partnership! Great things are happening for our teachers and students.

Today is a busy day for South Holt athletics. The cross country team runs at Tarkio at 5:00pm. The JH football team plays at 5:00pm at Stewartsville and that full game will be followed by 2 quarters of JV football. The HS volleyball team play at 5:30pm at East Buchanan with varsity first followed by a JV match. Good luck to all the South Holt athletes tonight!

The South Holt 2nd Graders worked with Miss Weipert, the Elementary Counselor, to learn about actions and behaviors that are respectful. Miss Weipert is in her 2nd week of providing whole group lessons to all elementary students. Miss Weipert will focus her lessons on character education, bullying prevention, coping skills, and more. We are excited to have our counselors and teachers working together to support our students.
