South Holt spring sports will honor their Seniors on Tuesday, April 27th between ballgames at Forest City. Parents of our 7 Seniors involved in Baseball or Track and Field, please plan to be at the ball park by 5:00 pm.

South Holt Athletic Awards Assembly Thursday, May 6th during 7th and 8th hours. The awards will be open to all 7th - 12th-grade students and take place in the Old Gym. Awards will be given to students in grades 9th - 12th. This event will be streamed on Facebook live for viewers at home. We will not open the event to parents and adults outside the building as an in-building school event per our Re-Entry Plan.
South Holt Academic Awards Friday, May 14th following the Senior's 2nd graduation practice. The approximate time will be 10:00 am - 11:38 am. The awards will be open to all 7th - 12th-grade students and take place in the Old Gym. This event will be streamed on Facebook live for viewers at home. We will not open the event to parents and adults outside the building as an in-building school event per our Re-Entry Plan.
Each event listed is a change from previous years, and the decisions to handle the awards assemblies in this manner were not taken lightly, but at this time and with limited open dates in the evening, this is our best option.
Junior High parents and students, South Holt will continue MAP testing tomorrow and the remainder of this week. Please make sure to have all devices fully charged at home the night before testing.
Tonight's baseball game (4/20/21) has been rescheduled for Thursday (4/22/21). We will look to rescheduled Thursday's opponent, North Andrew to a later date. Our Senior Night has also been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 27th against West Nodaway.
South Holt 7th and 8th grade students will begin Map testing on Tuesday, 4/20/21. Please bring laptops fully charged to school each day,
The High School Worth County Tiger Relays scheduled for Tuesday, 4/20/21 has been rescheduled to Wednesday, 4/21/21 due to weather concerns.
STEM Challenge: You have 45 min to build a catapult with limited supplies and it must have its own trigger mechanism. Oh! and BTW, it must be accurate :)

8th graders determined if there is evidence of a chemical reaction and which one was heat absorbing or heat releasing.
7th graders get creative when modeling and explaining the Earth's layers!
All South Holt Freshmen will take part in County Government Day on Monday, April 19th. The requirements that have been shared from administration and staff are that all students must be dressed in nice clothing for the event. No blue jeans! Students will be expected to wear slacks, dresses, and dress shirts. Although the South Holt School Districts has rescinded the mask mandate, all government offices are still requiring masks, so our students and faculty will comply with this requirement.
The people working at After Prom tonight do not need to meet at the school until 11:30
