South Holt Lady Knights defeated the Northeast Nodaway girls tonight48-26 in first round of District 16 action. The Knights will play North Nodaway Wednesday night at 6:30. The Mustangs defeated Mound City tonight 52-34
Attention South Holt Patrons. Tonight's basketball game against Northeast Nodaway will not be available for broadcast. Specific rules prohibit the broadcast of all post season games through our normal channel of the South Holt Facebook page. Efforts will be made to have this problem fixed for future games.
The South Holt Athletic Booster Club threw a pizza party for the high school basketball boys, girls coaches and cheerleaders today. Celebrating a successful season and start to Districts.

Reminders for today district basketball game at South Holt. Gates will open at 1:15. Players can take the court at 1:40 for warm ups. Five dollar entry fee for all attendants, no passes unless listed on the district pass list. There will be no concessions for Saturdays game. Masks and social distancing are recommended while in attendance. The winning team will advance to play the Mound City boys on Tuesday, February 23rd.

With district tournaments beginning this weekend, fans will be able to watch any contest that are streamed for $10 per game. For sectionals and quarterfinals, fans will be able to watch any content that is streamed for $10 per site. Please note that games will not be broadcast on the South Holt Facebook page. Instead, please refer to MSHSAA.tv for all content.
As has been the case in the past, fans will still be able to catch the action from the Show-Me Showdowns on-line. This year's championships will consist of three days of action, with fans being able to watch any game from Springfield for $15 for the respective weekend.
Once the tournaments are over, fans will also be able to download a video to keep for an additional $10 fee per download.

The Mound City School District has lifted their attendance guidelines so tonight's games will not require tickets or a pass list; however, a mask mandate is still in effect. Anyone planning to attend will be asked to wear a mask throughout the game.
