
Junior High parents and students, South Holt will continue MAP testing tomorrow and the remainder of this week. Please make sure to have all devices fully charged at home the night before testing.

Tonight's baseball game (4/20/21) has been rescheduled for Thursday (4/22/21). We will look to rescheduled Thursday's opponent, North Andrew to a later date. Our Senior Night has also been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 27th against West Nodaway.

South Holt 7th and 8th grade students will begin Map testing on Tuesday, 4/20/21. Please bring laptops fully charged to school each day,

The High School Worth County Tiger Relays scheduled for Tuesday, 4/20/21 has been rescheduled to Wednesday, 4/21/21 due to weather concerns.

STEM Challenge: You have 45 min to build a catapult with limited supplies and it must have its own trigger mechanism. Oh! and BTW, it must be accurate :)

All South Holt Freshmen will take part in County Government Day on Monday, April 19th. The requirements that have been shared from administration and staff are that all students must be dressed in nice clothing for the event. No blue jeans! Students will be expected to wear slacks, dresses, and dress shirts. Although the South Holt School Districts has rescinded the mask mandate, all government offices are still requiring masks, so our students and faculty will comply with this requirement.

The people working at After Prom tonight do not need to meet at the school until 11:30

The South Holt Board of Education voted 7-0 to rescind the mask mandate at South Holt effective immediately. South Holt will continue the school year with the South Holt Re-Entry plan that we started the school year with. It can be found on the News section of the southholtr1.com webpage. Masks are not required but are optional for students and staff.

On Friday, April 16th, South Holt will recognize our Senior Athletes involved in a springtime sport (Baseball and Track and Field). The ceremony will occur between the varsity and junior varsity baseball games in Forest City. We would ask all of our parents and track athletes to be in attendance no later than 5:30 pm.

For those who were unable to attend the After Prom meeting and would like to volunteer to run a game or activity at After Prom, please contact Wendy Ottman to sign up.

The final After Prom meeting for the year is tonight at 5:30. We will meet in the cafeteria and go from there. All junior and senior parents are encouraged to attend the meeting and prepare for Saturday's event.
