Reminder: There is no school on Thursday, October 24 or Friday, October 25. Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday from 9:00-12:00 and from 4:00-8:00. The second grade has been busy creating their own pumpkins and writing about them. We have a creative group of young writers.




South Holt loses 3 sets to 1 set to Rock Port in District play. The loss ends the season for the Lady Knights. Great effort players and coaches this year! Thanks Mylee, Haylee, and Rachael!

South Holt has a menu change for tomorrow and Wednesday. Tomorrow's lunch will be burritos instead of enchiladas and Wednesday will be
turkey and cheese sandwiches, Doritos, string cheese, and fruit.

Fantastic night for South Holt Cross Country at the 275 Conference Meet! Congratulations to Hayden Piper for his 7th place finish, and to Jorden Piper for placing 3rd. Tait Morris and Sophia Mendenhall both placed 11th with personal records. Way to go Coach Morris and team!



South Holt begins district volleyball this week. The Lady Knights play Tuesday at 5:30 at Rock Port against Rock Port. Good luck!


South Holt Cross Country had a great morning at the West Platte Invitational. Congratulations to Jorden Piper with a 15th place finish and personal record. Congratulations to Hayden Piper for achieving his personal record and a 29th place finish. The XC Team runs on Monday at the 275 Conference Meet. Go Knights!







South Holt falls to Mound City by the final score of 36-21. The Knights are now 4-4 as they head into next week's season finale at East Atchison.

There will be a 5th Quarter social event 30 minutes after the completion of tonight's football game. HS students in grades 9-12 are invited to the First Christian Church for food, drink, and games.

At halftime Mound City leads South Holt 22-7.

6th grade had a chance to explore the KEVA planks after finishing up a research project. Towers, castles, and mazes were built!

South Holt High School students had the opportunity to participate in mock interviews this week during Personal Finance. Students researched questions and companies where they may want to work in the future. Then, they took turns being the interviewer and interviewee. They also practiced firm handshakes and appropriate introductions.
