South Holt's baseball games tonight at Albany start at 5:00pm. There is varsity and JV tonight. Games are being played at Albany's City Park. The baseball field has no address, but is on the southwest side of Albany at the intersection of South Street and Birch Street.
Good luck to all 7th and 8th grade students as they begin Missouri's MAP grade-level standardized testing today. It will be a great 4-5 days of testing! And good luck to all elementary students that will wrap-up MAP testing this week. High School End-of-Course (EOC) testing will take place next week.

Some seniors were recognized at the Oregon Kiwanis on Wed, April 26th. There were 16 kids who received Kiwanis Academic Awards. In addition the Kiwanis group honored Outstanding Instrumentalist (Kenlyn Grove), Outstanding Vocalist (Katie McCully), Senior Outstanding Athletes (Zoey Prussman and Jayce Jackson), and Scholarship Winners (Kenna Markt and Lily Noel). Congratulations!

South Holt Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades celebrated the school year with a field trip to Lego Land and Sea Life Aquarium in KC.

South Holt baseball vs. North Andrew has been postponed for wet field conditions and will not be played today. A make-up date is being looked into. Info will be shared later if the NA game is made up.
First Student Bus services has made a change to our afternoon dismissal procedures on the east side of the school. When the bell rings for dismissal and the students leave the building to board the buses or enter the parking lot, the bus drivers will extend the stop sign arm of the buses. This means no traffic should pass the buses while the arms are extended. The bus drivers are told to write down any license plates who ignore the arms and pass the buses so the bus barn manager can report the incident to the state patrol. This is for the safety of our kids as they are dismissed and board buses or cross the road to the parkiing lot.

Today is Prom at South Holt! The Promenade walk of students and dates will be at school at 5pm. Students and dates will then take buses to Rock Port's White Barn for dinner and dancing. After Prom will be back at the school gym from midnight to 4am. We hope a fun and safe Prom night!
