Reminder: Today and tomorrow (8/22 and 8/23) are early dismissals at 1:00. Elementary students not riding the bus will be dismissed on the elementary side of the building. Parents utilizing the circle drive should remain in their vehicles during pick up to avoid traffic congestion in the pick up line. Please contact the elementary office with any questions. South Holt Immunization Requirements Reminder.....students entering 8th grade need Tdap Booster and MCV Dose #1. Students entering 12th grade need MCV Dose #2. All immunizations must be complete prior to admittance to school that starts on Monday, August 22nd. South Holt Athletics is seeking someone to assume the volunteer position of maintaining the watering of the football field. Duties would include setting the timers for daily watering during the dry, summer months; inspecting irrigation system for leaks; winterizing the system for the winter months and communicating with the South Holt Agriculture Teacher of duties students can help with. Interested persons should contact Mr. Ted Quinlin at 660-446-2288. Help is needed ASAP. Previous person is willing to train new person.
South Holt is holding school registration for 7th-12th students and parents. Any seniors or juniors can come today until 12:00pm. Other grade levels.....Monday, August 15th - Sophomores and Freshmen from 9am-12pm. Tuesday, August 16th - 8th and 7th Grade from 9am-12pm. ***Family units and siblings can come at the same time regardless of grade level.
This drop-in event will allow students to verify their pre-registration schedule, sign forms, and be assigned a locker. Registration happens in the counselor’s room in the main hallway of South Holt conducted by Mrs. Martin and Mr. Quinlin.
