The Oregon water project has closed the intersection of Missouri and Madison streets northwest of the school. You cannot get through the 4-way stop at this location. Please plan other route.
All South Holt Hillyards students are to be at school from 8:24am-1:00pm on Monday, August 23rd. Details will be shared on Monday for plans for the rest of the week.
South Holt will host a "Meet the Knights" event on Tuesday, August 24th at 7:00pm in the main gym. This community event will introduce the student athletes and cheerleaders that will be representing South Holt this fall. Please come and support the kids!
South Holt Fall Sports pictures will happen on Wednesday, August 25th. JH will have pictures taken between 2:30-3:30. High School will have pictures taken between 3:30-5:00. Whole group and individual pictures will be taken. Forms were sent home with students on Friday.

South Holt Hillyard students will come to South Holt on Monday, Aug 23rd and Tuesday, August 24th for school. Their first day attending Hillyard in St. Joe will be Wednesday, August 25th.
South Holt has hired an Agriculture teacher and FFA sponsor for the 2021-2022 school year. Our new agriculture teacher's name is Mikaila Livingston. She taught agriculture and sponsored FFA in a Missouri public school last year. Welcome to South Holt Miss Livingston.
South Holt Registration for 7th-12th Grade is today and tomorrow. This drop-in event will allow students to verify their pre-registration schedule, sign forms, and be assigned a locker. Registration will happen in the counselor’s room in the main hallway of South Holt conducted by Mrs. Martin and Mr. Quinlin. South Holt Junior High Football practice will be from 2:30-400 PM Monday-Friday, starting August 16th. Students must have their sports physical on file at the school.
South Holt varsity sports practices start today (Aug 9th). Cross Country at 8:00am, Volleyball at 9:00am, Football at 2:30pm, and Softball at 3:30pm. Each student athlete must have a sports physical on file to practice. Junior High sports practices start Monday, August 16th.
Any and all South Holt Elementary students who have a Great Grill Reading Certificate to the 275 Grill will need to use that certificate by August 7, 2021.
South Holt needs volunteers at 9:30 this morning to help move a piano off the stage and to the band room. The stage and gym floor are being refinished today. Please come in the glass doors like you would if you were coming to a basketball game. Thank you in advance.

The food drop was this morning. There are plenty of onions and potatoes left. They are son in the parking lot between the school and park. Help yourself.
JH & HS volleyball camp this week Tues-Thursday 9am-3pm at the school. If you haven’t contacted Coach and are wanting to play this fall, come a little before 9 to sign up!
The boil order for Oregon has been lifted.
JH Football camp for today (Thurs, July 15th) at 5PM has been cancelled because of poor weather and extremely wet field conditions. Looking ahead, the first day of fall practice for JH football is Monday, August 16th at a time to be determined at a later date.
The City of Oregon will be draining the water tower tomorrow Tuesday, July 13th sometime in the morning hours. We will be trying to maintain pressure in the mains until the tower project is completed which could last 1 1/2 - 2 months.
All of Oregon will be without water Tuesday morning off and on all morning until we get the pressure set. There will be a boil order until further notice for all of Oregon.
